Introducing 10G Ethernet to MikroTik Networks

MikroTik's CRS312-4C+8XG-RM is their first Cloud Router Switch to feature 10G RJ45 Ethernet ports. The CRS312-4C+8XG-RM features 8 10G RJ45 Ethernet ports and 4 combo ports that allow you to utilise either 4 extra 10G Ethernet ports or 4 SFP+ ports. The additional supports are software selecting, allowing you to choose which ones will be active using RouterOS scripting. The CRS312-4C+8XG-RM comes with a pair of rackmount ears, allowing the switch to be installed in a 1U rack.

High demand requires high reliability and with the CRS312-4C+8XG-RM's dual power supply functionality, you can ensure no unexpected downtime. This switch has a great total non-blocking throughput of 120 Gbps, switching capacity of 240 Gbps and forwarding rate of 178 Mpps.

An Operating System to Suit Your Needs

The CRS312-4C+8XG-RM comes with both RouterOS and SwOS. For a feautre-rich operating system, choose RouterOS. For a simpler system, or to utilise Layer 3 features, choose SwOS.
